    Ensure you are taking the whole child into account when responding. Learn how to make sure the response is not as or more traumatizing than the crisis. Discover ways to help the child heal and learn. Gain understanding of what de-escalation that supports self-actualization and empowerment looks and feels like.

  • Balancing behavior and maintaining therapeutic relationships
